You can purchase at www.martialway.net. I'm not sure if the footage from this tournament has been edited and is posted for sale yet, but I know there is footage for sale from the past 2 tournaments that we hosted. "On your first question about the two equally Largo mano player, tall and short, the taller have advantage? If this is the scenario now the game start from this, who is faster, who is good in timing, who would defeat in lower position to the highest peak position. Tall doesn't make me believed have advantage in Largo Mano fighting range. I would put my word and guts on that 100%" 1.. My thoughts are not a question of who is faster and weaker. I did say that "similar" abilities as you - means also faster and almost equally the same. Because not all tall people are slower or can be easily taken down with smaller opponents. A good perception about playing a taller opponents also will give positive ideas to yourself but we have different ways of thinking. different brains and structures and these makes all people unique (as yourself) and sometimes advantages and disadvantages are part of it. "Now this second post, I would be stupid to play basketball in tall person. Becaused I am not a basketball player first of all. I am a Eskrimador, I would fight the Basket ball player in anytime with stick or without a stick if they attack me. Now I put my opinion and the theory of the Laguna Largo Mano on this thread, to give you and other new thing to think, not to put limitation to your skill. " 2.. I am not saying that you have to play basketball with taller person, please don't take it literally. I'm only stating principles of application - basketball is not the center of subject at hand but certain points limitation of playing a taller and shorter person. I'm sure that your skills are exceptional when it comes to Eskrima. Hindi naman ako nagsasabing makipaglaro ka ng Arnis sa basketbolero - walang punto ang magawa sa makipaglaro ka sa walang alam na arnis. - not also saying that you have to fight a basketball player with arnis sticks because there is no point on playing one that doesn't have any knowledge of Arnis. Only principles of application not factual. "Its becaused he is tall, he can automatically take advantage of the lenght of his arms. Non-sense I am not affraid to fight the taller person, becaused I know my weapon is is the equalizer, now if you still not believed in my theory is fine. Our opinion is not necessary for you practice what you believed. Just practice what you know and hopefully that would help you to survived in time you need them. I wish you good luck and enjoy training." 3.. Positive thinking is one way of getting the job done. Not doubt about that! Argumentatively speaking, taller opponents have other ways fighting smaller opponents and again I'm not questioning your abilities but with giving a simple perspective thoughts. Your confidence is not a question too. but what my late grandfather taught me to think ways to fight and be not overconfident about your skills because this will be your downfall. He maybe right or wrong but this changed my whole perspective in life. "I would not put the whole theory on the digest, to convince you.. I will show it to you and the rest of the curious practitioner what we are talking about. Salamat and I understand you perfectly, I just cannot make everyone please.. If you got more questioned about basketball, I cant answer you on that.. keep it simple the topic is Eskrima, throw me a question in FMA.. " 4.. Why not? If these theories are applicable and easily done, why hold back your? Lahat naman tayong mga Pilipino mahilig at gustong malaman kong anong ginawa sa iba (so sorry about this.). Again sir, basketball playing is not the main question if you know it or not, I'm only stating a theory about tall and small opponents. My questions are as simple as I can relate and those questions are fairly for the sake of FMA practitioners. Thanks for your time in addressing my post. I finished the talk by stating, "The Dog Brothers have a rule: that everyone remains friends at the end of the day. I think they've got the right idea, and I don't want this to turn into an opportunity to just beat the tar out of your opponent. This competition is about control: Control of your weapon, control of the ring, and (most importantly) control of yourself." So the original was credited, if not the posting. *Salute* By the way, we had a great time. Once again, I can unequivocally state that judging is far more difficult than fighting (although the trainup is easier). We saw a number of styles and approaches, and more than a little confusion once the action hit the ground. Everyone had a good time, and we gave away TONS of prizes. Every fighter got a meal, a t-shirt, and a "swag bag" of goodies; a big chunk of the audience received door prizes. On top of that, the top three fighters in each category got a medal and a prize. Prizes included two Cold Steel Kobun sheath knives and a Ron Balicki Jeet Kun Do DVD set.
