In fact, his style is not from Yip Man, according to one of his former students and an internet reps of Cheung. He learned it from some folk in China and so none of his si-hing or si-di under Yip Man had seen it. And because they had never seen it, they could not tell if Cheung was lying when he said he learned the real things from Yip Man. Anyhow, it was part of Cheung's marketing scheme to the western world. Only that he forgot Leung Ting was also trying to make some money there. And Leung took it seriously, understandably. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! I too saw the video transfer and it was a major wakeup call for many styles in the Wing Chun system. I remember that after the encounter many a Wing Chun practioner began re-examining their ground skills. Just one more reason why the FMA appealed to me as I began to learn of Buno (Dumog) and other ground skills of the FMA.
