Aside from that, There's also GM Cacoy Canete's book, "The Fastest Olisi Fighter". Its been awhile since I've read it, but I'm sure there's a section on his WWII days where he leaded and trained a Fil-Am Guerrila Force. > > From: bgdebuque > Date: 2005/12/06 Tue PM 11:26:11 EST > To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net > Subject: Re: [Eskrima] FMA in WWII > > So far, the most extensive account I have seen in an FMA book was that of GM > Leo Giron who was a US Army commando in WWII. Participants from different styles/systems of FMA came together to support a very worthy cause. Everyone had a great experience and we all made some new friends. My students enjoyed the material covered by Tuhon Bill and Guro Rob. It was a very positive experience. Tuhon Bill and Guro Rob are two of the most down to earth individuals that I have come across here in the FMA community. They are in my opinion true masters of the arts that they practice, both in skill and demeanor. Hopefully we will have the chance to work together again in the future. A special thanks to everyone that came out to Fishkill, NY for the charity seminar. Your contributions will help the Salvation Army provide the Hurricane victims with continual aid and support. Maraming salamat sa lahat!
