I am familiar with the rattan I have been using from Doce Pares people, and closed node rattan but what is the difference between all of those and "manao"? _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! What a completely reperhensible excuse for a human being. The few students he doesn't completely ruin will be perfect abuse victims. Of course, one day one of those beaten curs will turn on him and tear his throat out. Can't happen soon enough for me. --__--__-- Message: 4 From: "Peter Gow" To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Date: Fri, 23 Dec 2005 22:06:58 +0000 Subject: [Eskrima] SEASON'S GREETINGS Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Season's Greetings to All the Digest Readers. On a much more pleasant note, Happy Holidays to all, may your days be spent with the love of family and friends surrounding you.  And to those troops serving overseas, be well and come home safe!  Our hearts are with you. --__--__-- Message: 6 To: thewildcat@excite.com From: "Andrew Evans" Date: Fri, 23 Dec 2005 21:21:22 -0500 (EST) Subject: [Eskrima] Happy Holidays- Topeka, Kansas Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net To friends and family, In an attempt to be fiscally responsible, we decided to send electronic holiday greetings this year. Happy holidays!! This is a time to come together. It has been a great year. Andrew has completed his master’s of library science (time to pay off student loans). Sheryl has completed his bachelor’s of integrated studies and will continue working towards her master’s degree in library science (time to pay graduate school tuition). Andrew and Sheryl are also teaching martial arts. Their next session starts Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at Crestview Community Center. Yes, they are both butt-kicking librarians. So watch out for those overdue books… Twelve-year old Forrest Parker is now in middle school and was accepted into the gifted and talented program. He is a sixth-grader doing seventh-grade math plus he plays the guitar. The following might take some time to download but it's a clip of my Forrest playing the blues. http://hokkien.uuft.org/blues.wmv He's quite the performer! Walter Remington is now a couple of months into the terrible twos. He is quite the handful. Hopefully, he will follow in his brother’s footsteps as opposed to leaving footprints all over his dad’s back. Here he is in action! http://hokkien.uuft.org/walter.3gp Our proudest moment of the year is being able to help our young friend Heather, who is now recovering from Hodgkin’s disease. Please see http://geocities.com/masterforrest/martialnews.wmv We did not get a family scanned this year. For a picture that’s over a year old but is one of our favorites, please see http://hokkien.uuft.org/evansfamily.jpg We hope your holiday season is bright. We will you a happy New Year. We hope to see you again soon!
