My guess is that he's in a third-world country somewhere. In which case, that behavior may be regarded normal or, at least, within the bounds of normalcy. Even if it's not, though, the legal system of the place may be such that it would be useless to try to pursue it. I seriously doubt that this school/instructor are in the States or in Canada. All the participants will receive free training and free pair of sticks. All styles are welcome during the national meet. The Filipino martial art of Eskrim/kali/Arnis full contact stick/knife and empty hand fighting is adopted by the Southeast Asian games and recognised by Philipines Olympic committee and the Filipino Martial arts federation of India is the sole representative of the world Eskrima Kali Arnis federation in India. The event during the championship will be of full contact stick fighting wearing full body protective equipments and as per the rules and regulations of the World Eskrima Kali Arnis federation. Let's just say I was trained back in the early 80's by some Old School Marines. Little different view of things we inherited back then. Not 100% appropriate for today's MUCH higher-tech military, as this teacher's style isn't 100% appropriate for everything, but hey - ya gotta learn to take a coupla whacks!
