This last year has been very good to me and my family. There have been a lot of opportunities for growth in my life journey. I look forward to this year with hope, as my son's birth looms in the future. I'd also like to take a moment to thank Ray for hosting the list and keeping it moderated. His effort is so seamless that it's easy to forget just how much work goes into an endeavor such as this. Unlike US, here you rarely go to jail for accidentally killing the bad guy. Since firearm is illegal here, the best concealed weapon I can think of is knife, in addition to her pepper spray. The chances of the knife being used against her would be lower, especially if held in reverse-grip. That would create some distance between her and her attacker and allowed her to take the next option. Regards, S. H. Won't go with her office wears. Actually, I have been wondering why nobody creates a knife for self-defense which looks like utility knife or letter opener with a misleading name such as "box cutter" or "letter opener". These designs will enable you guys in US to carry them everywhere with less trouble from the authority. Anyway, thanks for the advice. Regards, S. H.
