Ordinary plastic ballpoints tend to disintegrate around the tip once it hits a hard target (e.g. bone). Pencils are, more or less, on the same category as plastic ballpoints. More pricey heavy pens such as Cross would probably be the best option. Choose one with a rotating mechanism though. Those with spring mechanisms tend to break in the middle upon hard contact. > > Message: 4 > To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net, escrima_arnis@topica.com > From: Alex.France@kp.org > Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2006 16:22:31 -0800 > Subject: [Eskrima] Workshop: Dos Puntas, Dulo-Dulo, and the Common Pen > Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net > > Seminar/Workshop: Dos Puntas and its Progression to Dulo-Dulo > Instructor: Master Alex Ercia, direct student of Grandmaster Ernesto > Presas > Date: April 1, 2006 Saturday > Time: 10 - 3 PM (with breaks) > Workshop fee: $50 ($35 for Federation members -- One more reason to join > IPMAF!) > Location: Club One Fitness Center in Pleasanton > Address: 4460 Hacienda Drive, Pleasanton CA 94588 > Directions: Just off the 680/580 junction, exit off 580 at Hacienda Drive. > Turn left on Hacienda.
