I also designed a blade to be used for FMA training and the Torqueblade regime. A Blade gives you correct wrist alingment and a greater appreciation for lines of force which we know a baton does not. The Torqublade regime is meant to be used a a base for functional fitness to cross train from specific fitness such as martial training. More information is to be found on my website.
