However, this is the very first time I have seen a historical period delineated for Macario Sakay. While I know who he is, and he is a very interesting historical figure, maybe you can tell us the significance of his historical chapter. You called it "New Ilustrados Time" but Macario Sakay was no illustrado, or is that the point? Sorry won't be in Orlando for the Sokeship Council event - busy month of May for me. GM Taboada and some of my people will be there though. Enjoy!! Anyhow, got some add-ons for the various times you lined-up below for the Philippine history. These panahon/times though not historically relevant are for the present time, on- going, true, and humorous for when people talks just for kicks to humor or express disgust ongoing times in their daily lives. Also, by politicians specially expressing their rallying calls during election years. So, here goes: panahon ni Kumag/takawan - time for the idiot or corrupt politician Panahon ng adilantado - time for the lazy no good for nothing people Bwisit na panahon - lousy weather panahon ng timawa - Ilongo term for for poor people power time panahon para magsama - time to get/gather one another for unity panahon ng para gumising - wake-up time call panahon ng gutum - hungry times panahon para mag-higanti - pay back time panahon para mag-bago - time for change panahon ng ulan at baha - manila time during rain and flood ----- And my favorite: pana-panahon - "weather-weather lang" as translated in the Joke book by ex pres Joseph for his infamous presidential time/stay. OK,,, this is just for fun and a change of pace from MA talks thus far.... Thanks !!
