And gasped. There was what purported to be a blade owned by - wait for it - Myamoto Musashi! I remember it was a little short for a katana but still longer than a wakasashi (to my untrained eye at least) but given his two-sword preference this may have been the norm. There was no price, but it was dated around 635 AD which I think is probably about right, but the shop was closed so I couldn't get any more detail. I was told yesterday that he forged his own swords, and I suppose if he made a lot, the sword may be genuine. Any ideas on how can I find out if it is authentic? How much should it cost? (It wasn't in great condition and I don't think it came with a scabbard) The prospect of owning a Musashi sword is incredible to me, but it may well be prohibitively expensive anyway. I was showing it to my girlfriend when she spotted the nazi brown shirt behind it, complete with swastika armband. She stormed off and refuses to go back. Lol. ... must investigate this thoroughly ;) Julian ############################################################################# ######## This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. I think you need to implement Muay Thai skills certainly for your striking. It works great in the firum of combat sport. Definitely look into Crossfit (www.crossfit.com) for metabolic conditioning and Zone diet for horsepower fueling. Good luck. Allan -- R.
