Thank you for your comments, they brought a big smile to my face this morning. Yes Osunlade is a good friend and music partner of mine. I usually play along with him when he comes to Miami but the last time he was here I was in NYC with family. DHM are friends of mine also a bunch of great and sincere guys. Im originally from NYC where I began training in JKD/FMA at Anderson's Martial Arts in Feb of 1999 ( www.Andersonsmartialarts.com) I moved to Miami a little over 2 years now, and since I have trained with Sifu Dwight Woods, and Guro Chad Bailey. I train with Chad 2x a week, plus I train solo on sundays at Flamingo Park on Miami Beach. So since our world seems to connect like a series of energy drills, im sure we'll have a chance to meet and train one day soon. As far as DJ'ing goes every WEd and Thurs night 9-12 mid Im at Touch Restaurant 910 Lincoln Road, South Beach. I also play the Aquabooty party every few months or so. Once at a seminar with Guro Dan Inosanto back in 2002, he was at my NYC school, and I gave him a copy of my first LP " Sirround Sound" and he played it right there on the spot for the duration of the training seminar. He said " Djinji this is really good music to train to, lots of rhythms going around, and very diverse!" He is one of the most sincere people I ever met, his compliment still stays with me. here is a link for my latest release: http://www.dancetracksdigital.com/search/?TITLE=&ARTIST=Djinji+Brown&ALBUM=The+E.A.R.S&LABEL=660&GENRE= what is the common thread here?.....movement!! take care brother and I look froward to meeting you Djinji Brown On Friday, November 17, 2006, at 10:10AM, wrote: >Was super surprised to see your recent post. I've listened to your music productions for some time now and dude you are really good!! As a matter of fact, Osulande was just here in Miami playing with DHM (friends of mine) at the club Pawnshop a week or so ago. Really good music that night. > >Not sure when you travels will bring you back to Miami but you've got an open invitation to come train in FMA and enjoy Miami night life. > >Take care and train hard!! > >Guro Glenn Harris >Garimot system USA > > > >dinjibrown1@mac.com wrote: > >Greetings Tuhon Bill McGrath >I have a copy of the album on vinyl. I'm travelling again! This time, I'm in Lafayette, Indiana. I'll be here for at least the next two months, so if anyone is interested in some Serrada training drop me a line. I'm also trying to locate Guros Alan McLuckie, Ben Berrie, and Rob McDonald. Last I heard, they were in Ft. Wayne. To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net IMHO, these rules sound like they were made by someone lacking any real-world fighting experience. Then again I could also be completely wrong with what I had just typed and credit it to an episode of lousy judgement. PLEASE DON'T think I mean any offense over this statement, because rules are made for those who intend to respect them. If a person does not agree with the rules set by one "governing-body" for the said sporting event, then no one is required to participate. I do wish the best for this tournament and for those who choose this type of limitation in the sport. This is just me. I've found that with less restrictions in the sport, the more respect each player has for each other. After all, it is sport and not real-world combat. Respects.
