He lives too far for me to train him. Would anyone know of an instructor in his area? Any help would be appreciated. As usual, this generated a number of questions. Here is two: 1) You are right handed. You hold a stick/sword in your right hand (duh!). You hold a two-handed sword with the right hand at the hilt, left hand at the pommel (I think). If you have a rifle with a bayonet you will have *left* hand forward (the pictures of the Battle of Culloden where the government troops were actually reversing this grip to administer the famous stab-to-the-right notwithstanding). How then do you hold a staff/pike/naginata or what have you? 2) Do you stay in your usual guard whatever the opposition or do you try to match the lead?
