Clean, centrally located, good food at reasonable price in its own coffee shop, friendly staff and helpfull efficient room service / housekeeping I have stayed there often. Prices for a double room 10 pounds a night, you can always get a discount if you ask for it, just ask to speak to the manager and ask for discount, oh yeah the security guys are into fma too, say hello to Jun on the door for me. --__--__-- Message: 2 Date: Sun, 7 Jan 2007 12:20:35 -0800 (PST) From: Bill McGrath To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Subject: [Eskrima] FMA in Ireland & dual layer DVDs Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Hi Guys, I will be in Europe this April giving weekend seminars. On weekdays I plan on doing some sightseeing and was thinking of visiting Ireland. Does anyone know of any FMA schools in Ireland? I¢d like to stop by and make some new contacts while I¢m there. I am in the process of converting my VHS video tapes to DVD. These are review videos that I sell at my seminars. About half of these are over an hour long, so I have a decision to make. A single layer DVD will only hold one hour of video (set at best quality). I have a dual layer DVD burner, so I¢m capable of converting a two hour tape to a single DVD. The problem is that some older players can¢t play these dual layer DVDs (some of my students have complained of this problem). The members of this list should offer a good cross section of the DVD viewing public, so let me ask you-have you had problems viewing dual layer DVDs? If a significant percentage of people can¢t view these DVDs then I¢ll use single layer double sided disks for my longer videos. Thanks, Tuhon Bill McGrath _____________________________________________________________________________ _______ Have a burning question?
