Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Andrew, Thanks for the update. I'm getting set to move out of Bakersfield, CA, in the central valley north of Los Angeles, at the end of the month, but still won't be settling in Maryland until probably April. We might be coming to Maryland in a couple of months or so to see relatives. If we get there I'll let you know, and maybe we can meet up. I'm definitely open to being part of a little martial arts group, with the FMA being the core--which is my preference also. :-) As I said, I have a fair amount of training in several other disciplines besides the FMA, including the original 14th-century Yang style tai chi empty hand and weapons training (saber, straight sword, staff, and spear), which is extremely hard to find these days, and also Wu style Chin Na, Okinawan kobudo, and iai-jitsu, in addition to the more common karate styles such as goju-ryu and shotokan. If anyone is interested in expanding their knowledge into any of these areas, I'd be happy to assist them. Hope to see you in the near future. --Steve B. -----Original Message----- >From: Andrew Maddox >Sent: Oct 3, 2007 10:11 AM >To: Eskrima Digest >Subject: [Eskrima] c'mon kids, let's put on a show! > >Or start up a club, depending. > >Yes, I'm still here, still trying to get a few people to start a little >agnostic MA club.
