The 4th FMA Festival is from July 20-25, 2008 in Boracay and Iloilo. That would appear to coincide with one of your own WEKAF events in Cebu. However, there is no reason we cannot get together either in Manila, Cebu or Iloilo or anywhere else. Let's coordinate if we are both going around that time. We welcome anybody else headed out to the Phil. around that time, regardless of what event you are going to. I believe Gat Puno Abon Baet has a Tournament or a Fiesta in Laguna around that time also. One of my 30 year-old newbies saw it and very sheepishly asked me if we were going to be that intense as he progressed. I only answered him with a wide grin. Guro John G. A great conditioning object specially unique to practitoners of the art and may also be made differently from club to club. Don't know of any MA supplier that markets a prototype of the bag yet. As described, it could be made or rig just like what my pal Jay de Leon says depending on your conditioning needs and availability of materials. My choice copy cat would be the one described by brother Ruel Apostol - thanks for the input. Don't have to be long (banana), two short bags made and place properly would suffice for the low and high kicks or whatever, if availability of long rattan sticks is problematic. So now you have the contraption, what's next?? Give it a few whacking kicks and then give us your assestments. Me, bumped my shin hard one time against a table leg and I swear*$#@,,,That's why these yaw-yan dudes are a different breed as far as their kicks and shin goes.. My thoughts and for laughs only..
