My experience is just in the UK. I understand some of the reasoning behind promoting people who can't teach to positions of teaching. But I can't understand why people would want to dilute and destroy our art by doing so. I lived for Doce Pares, which was reflected in the work I put into it. But when people go from white belt to black belt in one step, without having to work for it, without having to prove that they can actually fight. Without having to prove that they can actually teach. Without proving that they actually know any of the technique, style or even history? _________________________________________________________________ Who's friends with who and co-starred in what? http://www.searchgamesbox.com/celebrityseparation.shtml --__--__-- _______________________________________________ Eskrima mailing list Eskrima@martialartsresource.net http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/eskrima Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://eskrima-fma.net Old digest issues @ ftp://ftp.martialartsresource.com/pub/eskrima Copyright 1994-2008: Ray Terry, MartialArtsResource.com, Sudlud.com Standard disclaimers apply.
