What about New York State law or North Carolina law (where I live)? Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net I stumbled upon this oddity a few months ago and I would like to share it with everyone. The common term given for the "X" pattern 4 basic strikes in the FMA is "CRUZADA" (which is apparently an adaptation of the Spanish term for making the Sign of the Cross).   In the Malay language (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia & Bahasa Malaysia), the term given for the "X" sign when used in a mathematical context is..... "KALI"  Believe it or not.... --__--__-- _______________________________________________ Eskrima mailing list Eskrima@martialartsresource.net http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/eskrima Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://eskrima-fma.net Old digest issues @ ftp://ftp.martialartsresource.com/pub/eskrima Copyright 1994-2008: Ray Terry, MartialArtsResource.com, Sudlud.com Standard disclaimers apply.
