Those were fun years and if I was to take a return trip in time, this would be my first choice. As reminisced, it was a college boy dream, being around and cavorting with a bevy of pretty, graceful, and scholarly young women. Ayayay!! The happy memories still are in my mind and heart always.. A different time it was and I wished there were clips of those performances we performed. Those days, we did not have the luxury of the video and cell phone cameras or what not. Think it was the time of the "Super -8 (?) camera and it be foolish to carry the cumbersome equipment around then. I remembered we danced "Sakuting" during an inter- University dance competition and we won!! Brother Ray is right , it may take a couple of drinks for me to go try the intricate steps again. Perhaps with a little practice it'd come back to memory. Heck,,,,FMA sinawali drills will certainly come handy with the stick part. However, you've got to provide the "women" Jay! hehehehe. So, maybe next we meet, we'd try to talk about those our college years as your school "Ateneo" was just a ten centavo ride from our campus then. Hasta Luego!! jorge v. But checking your website i noticed that "Lakan Sampu" hast been translated as "9th degree". Counting 1 to 10 i am ending up with 10 for "sampu" so is this a typo or any special reason behind? The rational for not using that term in Doce Pares is because it is more of a Japanese/Korean term, thus "Degree Black Belt" is used instead of Dan. Means pretty much the same thing, I know. Just curious...
