RE: Pekiti-Tirsia on YouTube (2@msfencing.org) --__--__-- Message: 1 From: <2@msfencing.org> To: Subject: RE: [Eskrima] Pekiti-Tirsia on YouTube Date: Sun, 14 Dec 2008 17:41:08 -0600 Organization: Mississippi Academy of Arms Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net I have a copy of Master McGrath's first novel (Asulon) in the Sword of Fire trilogy and it is a fascinating tale, very well written. Even though it is a "fantasy" novel I have found it to be an excellent allegory of the true worldview. He make good use of his Eskrima training and experiences in writing the fight scenes. I am looking forward to reading the newly released second book in his trilogy. It was also nice getting the two hour DVD overview of the Pekiti-Tirsia. I watched the whole thing three times gleaning useful techniques to add to my own self-defense tool kit and I kept thinking "This is just the overview? Wow, I need to order each of the in individual depth DVDs which this tape overviews!."
