Buck, Jr." Date: Mon, 20 Apr 2009 11:45:20 -0500 Subject: [Eskrima] Looking for Philippine Charities Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Hi Everyone, As our business designed to support the FMA community grows, we would like to find ways to give back to the Filipino community. Aside from direct support of our teachers and their families, we would like to find charities to whom we can donate a portion of our sales each year. If anyone has a legitimate charity that you recommend, please contact me with details. Something that supports education, health or otherwise supports underprivileged Filipino youth would be great. Another excellent option would be something that gives back to the disappearing Filipino heros of WWII. I recently learned the USA is finally recognizing many of these great men who supported the US in WWII, but were never compensated. So far they have not been given enough for their sacrifice. How can we help? Thank you in advance for any suggestions! best regards to you all, Leslie L.
