Re: Skokie Festival of Cultures Demo (Ruel Apostol) --__--__-- Message: 1 Date: Mon, 11 May 2009 19:20:32 +0800 (SGT) From: Red Gonzales To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Subject: [Eskrima] Pacquiao vs Hatton Fight Link Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net No offense intended for all Briton list members here but Hatton acted in a way which was unbecoming of a British Warrior.    He was very boastful and made alot of noise.  He declared he will KO Pacquiao in the 3rd.  Maybe he was thniking that since he survived Mayweather, a very fine, talented, and technical boxing champion, in 9 rounds he can make short work of Pacquiao.  He was dead wrong.    Hatton is nothing close to being at par with Pacquiao and Pacquiao proved that to the whole world without a shadow of a doubt.    What makes them different is that Pacquiao asked for guidance from the Almighty before the fight and after his victory, he attributed it to God.  A superior warrior is not only about trash talk and physical skill.  Mental and spiritual superiority also counts.    Mabuhay ang Pilipinas, si Pacquiao, at ang lahing Filipino!      Feel safer online. It creates hype, not that i like it. What was obvious before the two got in the ring was that Hattons training camp had problems and to face a fighter of pacmans quality is disaster. Mayweather during the rest bite from round 1 told Hatton, you should have listend to me - you are not moving your head. hatton started to use that in the second round but the damage was already done. Hatton though was capable of pulling one out of the fire just like Frosch did against Taylor. I would love to see the two go at it again but i fear Hatton is at the wrong end of his career.
