In honor of this special day, TMC broadcasted military classics. I had the pleasure of watching the movie, "Back to Bataan", starring John Wayne & Anthony Quinn who interestingly portrayed Andres Bonafacio's grandson. It made me reminisce of the late GM Leo Giron & his exploits of heroism during WWII. The movie had innuendos to the Bolo Batallians & even a brief appearance of a balisong doing lethal damage to the enemy! Our repects in honor to all the families who suffered from the supreme sacrifice their relatives gave in service to their country. Our thoughts to the family of then 19 yr. old Daniel Unger, who passed away 5 yrs. ago on May 26 in Iraq. Both father; Rev. Marc & son Daniel were students of the Estalilla Kabaroan. Though his training had educated him as a warrior for combat, in times of peace it prepares us with spirituality that strengthens & guides us in coping with the realities, consequences & aftermath of battle & engagement of conflict. May God bless all who have served. Please accept our most humble yet hearfelt & deserving thanks & gratitude.
