There are a few place to get pre & custom made gear like stick bags, uniforms, WEKAF sparing gear, etc also Ernesto Presas has his head quarters there with items for sale. Some folks still know how to make variations of the Edgar Sulites forarm and hand guards. In my experience these are some of the best training tools to pick up. .....   Last but not least - give Mr. Alex Co a call or text - write to me directly if you want that information. If you want to find something martial arts related that I have not mentioned - he either has it or can point you in the right direction. IMHO some of the best knowledge still not common in all FMA circles is some of the structural development stuff that is found in TCMA - Traditional Chinese Martial Arts. Mr. Co is your access to the best of this here in the Philippines and he's also been the Ngo Cho instructor of a number of top FMA instructors. If your trip is long enough you can also look into getting custom carved training tools and weapons. I have a friend who is getting a custom made Mook Jong/Wing Chun wodden dummy made out of molave. My favorite training blades have all been custom carvings. Any other feedback from Manila based folks or favorites not mentioned from those who have travelled through here? --__--__-- _______________________________________________ Eskrima mailing list Eskrima@martialartsresource.net http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/eskrima Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://eskrima-fma.net Old digest issues @ ftp://ftp.martialartsresource.com/pub/eskrima Copyright 1994-2009: Ray Terry, MartialArtsResource.com, Sudlud.com Standard disclaimers apply.
