Everything that I have seen about attempts to bring the teaching of the martial arts under state control indicates that the best outcome of such a scenario is that the dojangs (and dojos, etc. - the overwhelming diversity of m.a. is one of the problems with any attempt at government control) left standing will be determined by chance and ignorance. The worst outcome is that only the butt-kissin', campaign contributin' buddies of the politicos will be allowed to run schools. Only a few instructors can be certain of inclusion in that group, and they're not the ones I want to be taught by!
