My question is - can one learn enough (especially as a beginner) going twice a week as opposed to 3-4 times a week.? Class is offered on Saturday morning (mostly kids I heard) and Monday night sparring (anyone is welcome from around the area Reston Va.). But with school I am limited to Tues and Thurs nights. Before anyone says 'practice on your own' - I am doing that. I am patient when it comes to testing for belts - but impatient when it comes to learning. I would love to go 5 days a week if I could. I know its hard to build anything at the gym going twice a week - is it the same in MA? I don't know what happened in other areas other than outside my house and front street because as soon as I dragged my arse home, I got restrained there (for fear the taepoong would sweep me away - fat chance; branches falling on me would be a more realisitic issue). For those of you living on Yongsan, power's been out all over the place. Power went out in Embassy Housing at about 2100 because the trees got to dancing real hard and a huge one took out a power line just one house down from me. Eagle Grove had power out about an hour earlier. Tongduchon, Uijongbu, Inchon--all of those areas and more, like Munsan, are flooding bad. It's not so bad at Camp Casey, on the installation itself, but outside, sandbags everywhre (so I heard from my dad last night before the power went out). If CNN and all those news agencies in the states don't cover this, they should be hook kicked to the head and left to bleed all over the place. It's not good; people have already lost homes in the really really bad areas. Giving everybody on the list an update of what's going on over on the peninsula.
