This is no time to start sagging. Body language expresses our feelings. Was he using this as an example. How do you react when you don't win or don't perform up to your own expectations. Pouting, walking away from the group, throwing down a helmet in disgust? Possibly the instructor wants you to be more graceful in your acceptance of defeat. This is not an easy task to back up and take a good hard look at ourselves. Best of luck. Cliff Vaught ------------------------------ From: "Christopher Spiller" Date: Thu, 02 Sep 1999 13:11:33 PDT Subject: the_dojang: chang hun Somebody wanted to know what "Chang Hun" was. It's the pen name of General Choi, Hong Hi and means "Blue Cottage." The Chon-Ji patterns' official name is the Chang Hun patterns. Apparently, oriental calligraphers, scholars, etc. often used or were given pseudonyms when they worked. Another martial artist who used a pseudonym was Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of Shotokan karate. Shoto was his pen name and Shotokan means "Shoto's hall".
