But don't let yourself get caught up in other activities that keep you from getting back into the dojang. Looking at pp. 14-15: The lock called kote-gaeshi in Japanese is referred to as "boo-chae," which would be puj'ae in Mc-Cune Reischauer and means fan. Pal-Kum-chi is p'alggumj'i, meaning elbow. Yung-hang is giving me trouble. The closest I could find would be yon-haeng, on p. 1255 of the Minsung Essence Korean-English Dictionary for 1995. The translation would be "taking (someone to the police station)", which might also I suppose be translated as a "come-along." Hei-jun is another problem. I come up with either hoejon (turning) on Minsung p. 2093 or something like hwaej_n (flap wing). Can anyone help me with either of these? It's okay to take a vacation when you LIKE the training because you want to come back, but if there's a motivation problem when you leave there can be a motivation problem when you come back. You might want to cut back on a class or two for a couple of weeks but stick with the training. Try not to worry about enjoying what you're doing. You KNOW you like Hapkido but at times your not going to FEEL the pleasure attached to training - kind of like marriage :) Hang in there and tell yourself that you GET to go to class. Everyone feels this way about training at one time or another so stay on the mat!
