Hi Ray. I'm just starting in Hapkido; I've been studying Tang Soo Do at one of Master John Godwin's schools for about six months, and we've recently begun a once-a-week hapkido skills class. At least two of our TSD instructors hold black belts in TSD and HapKiDo (and Master Godwin of course holds Master's rank in both), so we tend to get a lot of Hapkidoish techniques even in TSD classes. During the summer of 1999 he performed in Wildwood, NJ. He recounted how he did a comedy tour in Ireland. His analogy was that in Ireland everything is ordered with a Potatoe. If you get a beer, you get a potatoe; if you order a bagel, you get a potatoe. So this Italian Comedian finally finds an Italian Restaurant in Dublin. He orders antipasto, pasta, and a nice wine. The waitress asks, "Would you like a potatoe with that bowl of pasta". Guess you had to be there. McD... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
