Surely there are more of you out there? Ray Terry> Response: I studied Kuk Sool Won and Hapkido in California and South Korea (Pusan) achieving 1st Dan in 1995/96. I would like to get back to Hapkido and am working toward finding a school in Maryland. There is one under Master West's organization. In Pusan, South Korea, my instructor was Master A. Chang, a direct and close student of GM In Sun Seo. Master Chang had a Dojang on Dong Dae Shin Dong, 3KA Seu Ku, Pusan, South Korea. Master Chang was also close to GM In Hyuk Suh. However, there has been a parting of the ways. Currently I study Tang Soo Do and a little Arnis/Escrima. This is to encourage my two sons. My wife is Filipina and her family is from Cebu. Her in laws apparently know the Canete's who are well known in Arnis/Eskrima Circles. McD... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! He is also a genuine 'personality'. He knows how to make a crowd smile and give a great seminar. I learned a lot. It's almost impossible to describe what I learned as far as technique goes. Suffice it to say I learned a lot of strategy about speed for sparring that was brilliant and that I hadn't seen before. I also learned some different things about stretching. Participants will learn how they can be a positive force in making every home a safe home, and proceeds will benefit the NCADV and its programs that assist victims of domestic violence across the country. For more information on the National Aerobic Kick-Boxing Marathon, call 303-839-1852. For more information about NCADV, visit www.ncadv.org online. The above is from the March 2000 "Muscle and Fitness" and I do not know anything else about this. Just thought some on this list may be interested. I did a lot of looking around for this kind of information, and found that it was usually out of date, or didn't have enough details to be of much use. Feel free to add your event and plug your org -- advertise away! If there is anything (design) that should be added or if there are mistakes, let me know. I've included info from this digest, but there are lots of holes. Your e-mails can fix that. John A.
