I have tried a few classes that focus on strength and stretching using these large (3ft diameter) rubbery balls called resist-a-balls. I am amazed at how they have helped my lower back, abs and inner thigh increase in strength and range of motion. I have searched the web for more info about how to use the ball for maximum effect and found little. Has anyone else tried this method of cross training? If you have, can you tell me where I can find out more about specific exercises using the ball to focus on specific parts of the body? Thanks. I'm just a white belt and don't really know much about it, but it seems to me that participation in a martial art is about more than skill and knowledge. Skill is for the body, knowledge is for the mind, teaching and making one's art a way of life is for the spirit (not just one's own spirit, but the spirit of the art). ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Mon, 14 Feb 2000 15:36:19 -0800 (PST) Subject: [none] ------------------------------ End of The_Dojang-Digest V7 #98 ******************************* It's a great day for Taekwondo!
