I have been intrigued by the art of HKD. Is there a certain level of TKD that I should reach before branching out to studying two styles? TKD will probably always be my main art, but the more HKD I see makes me interested. Thank you in advance for your opinions. Next I would like to ask all of you about hand conditioning, how do you do it, if you do? I have heard that the traditional way in Korean and Japanese arts is to find something hard and to strike it over and over again, adding force slowly over time. I have heard that while the Chinese arts follow a similar path, they also use a liniment to help the process. I would like to know if I need this liniment to keep for obtaining long term damage to my hands. As always any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks, Chris. ------------------------------ From: "hkdhal" Date: Sun, 20 Feb 2000 22:12:36 -0800 Subject: the_dojang: Welcome aboard Milton Milton, Mike M and I ran into Chang Chin IL at the sang mool sa store near KukiWon in Seoul he was in Seoul Visiting his mother.I had a lengthy talk with him and he is doing research on Hapkido and he said he will come out of hiding in the near future he is teaching in New York somewhere Maybe Todd could help you.contrary to what I have been told he seemed very friendly and he spotted me and stated he saw me in TKDT I was shocked.
