It would include forms, one-steps, and self-defense just like the regular program, but be separate from that program. What curriculum element would you put into the program to replace the sparring? Or what area would you enhance in order to provide a fitness challenge to replace sparring? I don't know any Tai Chi, but I was thinking I could incorporate some dynamic tension forms with some yoga instead, but then I still need to add an extra element for aerobic fitness, or? I would like to make this "alternative" program as challenging to the mind, spirit and body as the TKD program. So I am looking for additional elements to help make it so. I appreciate any input you could give me. In addition to my full-time job running the dojang, I work full-time during the day at the U.S. Special Operations Command here in Tampa. It's a difficult time for me to take off a whole week. But my student, Javier Agosto, will be there all week. Hope to finally meet you then. I know him well, and his TSD is the best, as is his son's. But you are right sir about the name on the school, as he does not teach Hapkido there. I believe you are right that he just has not changed the name on the school. Nice place too. He owns the building and rents two of the suites out. I think that probably pays the mortgage. I hope to be so secure someday that I could own my own building. Regards to you all, I was thinking these days that I was kicked out from The_Dojang, or that some other person unsubscribed me or something like that because I wasn't receiving The_Dojang issues for a few days. I knew that something was wrong, so I asked Mr Terry what was going on. He said that I was still a member of The_Dojang, so I checked with my Internet provider, and it was their fault. Their FTP server was "crazy" for a few days, and noone received any message at all, but now it's cool. I'm feeling a big relief now. It's nice to hear from you all again. This thing is making people "addicts". Thank you Mr Terry. I have a request for Melinda - . Can you send me a cataloque (if you have one) of Adidas equipment you're selling, and tell me if you are able to ship stuff over the ocean. Sorry for bothering; I would visit your web page about this, but I'm not able to do that for now on. I'm also interested if you know what would transport costs like those (U.S.A - Europe) be? In the end, a question for you all, especially those that speak Korean language. The problem is Korean pronunciation. On different web sites, I found many different ways for pronunciation (spelling) of Korean terms. You'll see some examples below. I understand that Korean alphabet is hard to explain with the English alphabet, but shouldn't there be only one way to do that? For example if "punch" is "Jirugi", shouldn't all people write "Jirugi" and pronounce "Jeeroogee" (I hope you get the point). Here is something very interesting. On Grandmaster Han Min Kyo's (TKD, 8th DAN) web site, prime numbers are: Hana, Dool, Set, Net, Tasa, Yasut, Ikop, Yadul, Ahop, Yul. Bow - Kyun Ye. He is a Korean, and a GM, and I can rely on this completly. On a web site (don't know exactly which one) that is a copy of WTF TKD sparring rules, prime numbers are: Hanah, Duhl, Seht, Neht, Daseot, Yeoseot, Ilgop, Yeodul, Ahop, Yeol. Bow - Kyeong Rye. Another very reliable resource - a copy of WTF manual! On a web site of a member of The_Dojang (she is also a Korean; sorry for getting you into this), prime numbers are: Hana, Dool, Set, Net, Tasot, Yeosot, Ilgoop, Yodohl, Aheop, Yol. Bow - Kyongne. A Korean that lives in Korea - if she doesn't know this, noone does! On a GM Rho's (TKD 9th DAN) web site, I remember that those words are written in another (4th) different way, but I'm not going to write them because I erased them from my HDD, and I can't recall the exact way. Now you get the whole picture. I'm not so interested in the fully, completly and totally accurate way (perfect way) for pronouncing and writing these words (there are MANY, MANY more of them). I'm more curious why are there so many different ways to say the same thing. They are all very similar, but the differences are often significant (Kyun Ye, Kyeong Rye, Kyongne). Perhaps, the voices that are written differently are pronounced like "something between"?! In the 2nd part of the word "bow", between "Y", "R", and "N"?! Perhaps, there are many different dialects in Korea, so there are many ways for pronouncing the same word?! I have a few more ideas about this, but I would like to hear from someone who understands this. Sorry for the leeennngggtttthhhh of this message!
