As people have noted some martial arts shoes simply don't last that long off the mat. Personally, I prefer using wrestling shoes instead of MA shoes. More ankle support, and generally they last much longer. I tend to wear mine all the time, and a good set of wrestling shoes will last me almost as long as a normal pair of shoes---and I submit them to a lot more punishment. :) YMMV, of course. Very motivating. We had purchased ours through Century Martial Arts Supply. I checked and Century Martial Arts Supply does still carry their sheild with a force meter. Century's web site is at centuryma.com >> i believe sears carries them, too. they had 'em here in kansas city. melinda Chajonshim Martial Arts Supply http://www.chajonshim.com ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Wed, 10 May 2000 12:13:40 -0700 (PDT) Subject: [none] ------------------------------ End of The_Dojang-Digest V7 #326 ******************************** It's a great day for Taekwondo!
