What did you mean that it would appear that he is on the same level as General Choi? Grandmaster Connelly did not create Yudo, or the name Yudo. If memory serves he is certified by a Korean body, but I don't remember which one; however, when I have the opportunity, I'll ask. I can tell you this, though. There's a pretty tight Judo player/instructor here that knows of him through Judo circles. This guys name in Valdez Sensei, and he had nothing but good things about him. Grandmaster Connelly is a bit of a perfectionist, hence he even makes notes of technicalities. I had the opportunity to briefly train with him, not to say that I know Yudo as I do not, I merely learned some techniques from him. If there are any furthers questions about grandmaster Connolly feel frre to email me, or even him. He is an outgoing gentleman, who enjoys his art and discussing it. I've asked him about various things, and he's quite knowledgable. I was standing in Barnes and Noble last night reading it :). In my opinion it is one of the best articles I have seen in that publication for a while. Congratulations again.
