Why would an event like nationals NOT have any media coverage? Nor film company taping the matches to possibly sell at a later date like the World Cup? I was really dissapointed at that fact. And there are people out there looking for footage of the event. If anyone out there has any video, please let me know. I have at least four or five people (mostly in the Senior division) looking for it. tae kwon! I wanted to pass on my congratulations to Lorraine for obtaining her purple belt today. She is currently the oldest student at our school. I do have to mention she has had a lot of health and family problems to deal with recently but in spite of all of this, she is doing her best to continue her path in TKD. She mentioined that during all of these difficult times her TKD training has help her deal with the problems. Lorrraine keep up the good work and never loose that warrior spirit in you! Perhaps they were Air Force as I seem to recall them in uniform. Master Silz, do you know? Ray - ------------------------------------------------------------------ We are pleased to share with you that William B Brown, ICAS Fellow and senior international economist, U. S. Department of Commerce, authored and contributed to ICAS the subject paper, "Commemorating An Unfinished War" (ICAS Lecture No 2000-0622-WBB), in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Korean War. He argues that " ... it's also the time for the US to step up to the plate as the principal proponent for a reunified, democratic, and market oriented Korea. Of all the powers in the region, we [U. S.] have the most to gain and least to loose from a unified Korea". I`m not in the ITF, but I would gladly buy the book one day (well... maybe not for US$ 150.00, it`s plenty of money in my country). But it`s a good piece of TKD history. It`s really interesting to read and see how the techniques and some ideas and opinions of Gen. Choi changed through the years and his newer books.
