There was a martial artist on the show. The premise was that they could be hit and not show any reaction. They were doing punches and kicks to the mid section, throat strikes, and even groin strikes. I was wondering if anyone saw the show or knows this guy. I didn't catch his name, the tv was pretty far away. Todd > Response: Todd= I was also busy doing something in the kitchen. But, the the guy was a Japanese stylist, re: Okinawa Shorei Ryu or something similar. A very hard style. Question= Do they practice defense ? I personally have met Kwak, Ho-chul who is the Pastor of Taekwondo World Mission Church (not to be confused with the Hallelujah Taekwondo Demo Team's World Taekwondo Mission Church). Pastor Kwak was (and still is?) a member of the WTF Technical Committee. WTF Pres. Kim, Un-Yong went to Pyongyang with ROK Pres. Kim, Dae-Jung for the Two Koreas Summit and met with the head of North Korea's Olympic Committee. I read in the paper that Juan Samaranch (sic), president of the Int'l Olympic Committee and good friend of IOC VP Kim, Un-Yong expressed his desire for Korea's sports program (including Taekwondo) be unified. The posting on Taekwon Net makes sense except for the "Top Secret" part. If it was top secret, why would it be on a public posting? ;-) Sincerely, Mike ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Mon, 26 Jun 2000 6:33:59 PDT Subject: the_dojang: WTF website > Does anyone know of a web page on the WTF? ???
