I think Aikido has an advantage for military use since it controls the opponenet/attacker rather than strike them and let them fall/stumble away. Granted its a bit simplified but basically true. Aikido philosophy may not come into play as deeply if you're a warrior/soldier than if you're a CEO. Rob "Young Eun" Frankovich ------------------------------ From: "J. R. West" Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2000 19:33:48 -0500 Subject: the_dojang: Master Booth I would like to concur with Master Hilland in giving a resounding endorsement of my Aussie friend and fellow HapKiDoist, Master Geoff Booth. I have known him for several years and have been fortunate enough to visit his dojang outside of Sydney and work with his students for couple of weeks. Master Booth is the ultimate clinician and technician and will teach a lot about HapKiDo motion and techniques to anyone who smart enough to take him up on his offer of a seminar during his trip to the USA, and he will do it with an unequaled sense of humor as well. If anyone has questions about Master Booth feel free to contact me at any time. J. R. West www.hapkido.com ------------------------------ From: "Daniel G."
