Han Ja spellings for - GM Choi Yong Sul & GM Ji Han Je - KHA, KHF, IHF & Kidohae - Chung Do Kwan, Ji Do kwan & Muk Duk Kwan 2. I understand that Chung Do Kwan was the most popular Taekwondo style in the Korean military and there was an elite battalion named after it. Could anyone tell me more about it. My computer can recognise Japanese, Korean and Chinese characters. So it doesn't matter what input method you use. Thanks S. H. I am familiar with one being built in South America, that was recently used by the Pan American Taekwondo Union in the recent Caribbean TKD Championships. What separates this Hogu and Headgear is the calibration that is required, and the wireless monitoring that is done at the head table. Unlike conventional electronic equipment, the South American system requires entry of a competitor's height, his weight, his build, etc. This insures that a 185 pound heavyweight does not have to create the same force as a 285 pound heavyweight. Personally, I believe that electronic equipment will be the norm in several years, but there is still much testing to be done. I know that information about the South American system is coming, and once I have complete specifications and "white papers", I will forward it to the Digest. Wouldn't the Oh Do Kwan have been the most popular TKD style in the Korean military? Of course it was a sub-kwan of the Chung Do Kwan, but ...
