It will feature Grand Master John Pellegrini (founder of Combat Hapkido) and Carlson Gracie Jr. (Brazillian JijuJitsu Champion). It will be a 2 day seminar on June 23rd and 24th. GM P. will cover trapping, joint locking, transtions and takedowns. Carlson Gracie Jr will follow up each segment with finsihing techniques on the ground and ground fighting strategies. Each instructor will do 2 sessions/day blending the systems together. I train in each of these systems and I can tell you that Hapkido and BJJ flow very well together. I will probably host at least one of these seminars each year here in Chicago. If you would like more info or have any questions email me at mjd99ab@aol.com.
