I have enough trouble enforcing the dojang rules. Seriously, I would hope that some of the discipline that I try to enforce on the kids in class would rub off on them at home or school. Personaly I don't buy the "full contact" stuff I have been been hit just as hard and harder in ITF matches than in WTF matches, and I have knocked people out just fine with kicks to the head. Then the ITF must be full contact. Else, you ITF guys have exceptionally poor control... Dear Ray: "...Where did you get that all the above were spin offs from Daito-ryu?..." Maybe "spin-off" is a poor choice of words. Each of the individuals who initiated or generated the particular art had also practiced Daito-ryu in conjunction with other sources. Perhaps this is a better way to say this. He covered the scientific forms application of the TaeGuk and Yudanja KukKiWon forms. With over 20 years in the martial arts I was surprised at the advance applications of the TaeGuk forms. I have never particularly liked that set of forms but this seminar changed my mind about them. The segment on the use of Ki and generating power was the mostinformative I had ever seen. If you ever get a chance to attend that seminar it is well worth the trip.
