She tested for 1st Degree at nine months. She sparred, did Hyung, broke boards and tiles. Only thing different was the black belts were told not to touch her in sparring. Fit lady, very fit. Training has been okay by my doctor for now, but I am only 2 months along. >> When we had two ladies in here that wanted to keep training while during their pregnacies ... well, I made up a program of Tai Chi movements for them to learn and work on. We would also get into the basics of breaking the movements down to self defense movements and how to parry with the hand techniques they were learning. I never let them spar or do groundwork while they were pregnant or stretch too much ... but I had them walking around the room slowly to warm up a bit moving their arms around. Then onto the TC program. We also taught them nunchaku forms ... wrist rolls with the nunchaku's ... and stick techniques ... but no kicking or punching. Good luck and train with common sense ... listen to your body.
