Yeah, it's stroking his ego... but the fact is that hackers are in search for power. Give them a sense that you recognize their power over you and they will often leave you alone. Kind of like saying "you are a bad-ass dude and I wouldn't want to mess with you - so please let me be". Involving authorities is often a challenge to the hacker and all his friends to continue harassing you. This tactic requires you to swallow some pride. But if your concern for the welfare of your site is more than your concern for your pride, then you might want to consider it. Hello all, If anyone knows of any good Korean style schools in San Jose or Santa Carla, CA I would appreciate the information. A friend of a friend is a 2nd dan TKD, does Palgwe forms but is willing to look into other styles. Email me with any info, thanks in advance, Andy ------------------------------ From: "Beth Kerr" Date: Thu, 21 Jun 2001 22:05:23 -0500 Subject: the_dojang: fear of sparring I was very honest with my instructor and told him that I felt very intimadated by him and a fellow student when we sparred. Being a girl who was always told not to fight and not to hit was a big change. But be honest with your and he will help you through it.
