A tip I was recently given: Go to your local Farm and Fleet store and buy a "Livestock Crook." These are usually Hardwood (oak or hickory) and have a wide crook, similar to the "Canemasters" cane (only without the point, marketing, and at a lower price). Be choosy on the finish, or strip and refinish it yourself (some are finished nice, some are not). There is an article in one of the current magazines (I think TKD Times) that links this type of conditioning to a blockage of the lung channel, thereby leading to serious lung ailments. Admittedly, I did not read the article fully, (I was killing time during a commute). I was wondering if someone was knowledgeable about acupuncture or had any other applicable knowledge, and if so, what they think of the hypothesis. Thank you for your time.
