It is 3.5 hours long and will challenge the best of the best kickers. Bill Wallace has his master's degree in Karate and TaeKwon Do and was undefeated Kickboxing Champion. And just a note to all you WTF Full-Contact guys and gals out there, you haven't seen anything until you've trained with "Superfoot". He will introduce you to his lethal and unescapable lead-leg roundhouse kick the way Mohammed Ali introduced the boxing world to his devastating left jab punch. If anyone tells you that the lead-leg has no power, think again, you're going to meet a martial arts legend who will reveal the truth and the secret behind effective kicking, power, and elusive strategy that no one on this earth has been able to replicate. The seminar is on October 27th, 2001 in Bowmanville, Ontario. Just 1 hour away from Toronto. Please e-mail or call me if you or your school is interested in attending. Stylistically, I would say that the techniques are more JJ than Aiki, and I am told they are very similar to what is taught in KravMaga.(dunno, never tried KM). <> Yes. I have used the techniques twice during my time as a police officer. The first was a standoff between myself and a distraught drunk guy in the middle of a street. There were many people in the area, so I couldn't use my sidearm. I sprayed him (OC), circled, sprayed again, and he came at me with slashes. Using my baton, I countered and struck the knife hand, trapped the arm, swept the leg, took him to his back, rolled him to face down for cuffing. Would have worked the same with or without the baton though. The second was a recent incident with a flathead screwdriver...again a drunk guy. This one was much easier. I utilized my highly honed TKD frontkick skills and kicked the cardoor closed on the extending weapon hand. It was just a simple trap the arm, takedown-to-the-face custody after that. In both situations, the suspect retained hold of the weapon until I pried it from their hand. BTW, if anyone in the Oregon/Washington area wants to show me some Phillipines style techniques, I would certainly accept the invite!
