Brian, I think they are feeding you a line of s**t. I would say they have a 
problem holding on to students. They can't "hold" a student long enough to 
make BB. There must be something wrong with that dojang (bad instructors, 
bad attitudes, ect). You ever hear of the old saying, "you can tell a good 
martial arts school by how many black belts they have." Which means they CAN 
hold students. But this doesn't apply to newly opened dojangs. Word of mouth 
is the best way to go on those.

we tend to incorporate the breakfalls regularly even though we're a tkd 
school. would love to have a suspended floor. one of the floors i've seen 
that i'd love to have was framed with 2"x6"s, had old tires in between the 
framing, then plywood, then mats on top. i'd be surprised if they couldnt 
bounce someone up to the ceiling on a floor like that. :)

Certificates still have GM Uhm on them and I think technically GM Uhm is
still "President". But, since GM Uhm is vice-president of the WTF he really
does not have the time to devote to duties as president of the Chung Do Kwan.
With the WTF in the Olympics, and spread through 140 countries and millions
of members around the world, the job of vice-president of the WTF is certainly
difficult in and of itself without having to worry about leading the Chung Do
Kwan. The reality is that GM Park leads the Chung Do Kwan in every way, with the
small exception that his name does not go on certificates. I don't know if this
will change anytime soon.

GM Uhm may also be retiring, perhaps already, from his WTF office.  May hear 
more on that once a TKD instructor friend returns from Korea next week.  The 
World Championships are underway at Cheju City right now...
