I can't find them on the web, and don't have any old catalogs anymore. They used to sell the moosoolsa HKD uniforms that I wear. I'm waiting till I go back to Korea next summer to buy some new ones, but I have some students in a new HKD program I started at Gold's Gym that want to buy this type. It's a solid white Hapkido uniform, not the stitched types that other places sell as the HKD uniform. It's the same that I wear from Korea, minus the KHF patch, so I'd like them to wear them also. But when we saw him in Jackson last February his illness was in remission. Master Whalen informed us a few months ago this he had come out of remission. Master McHenry or Master Whalen should be the ones to talk with privately. Jere R. They serve the function of providing mystique to the MA, and I believe that to be a good thing. And to those that harangue MA instructors for their ethics, politics, economics, etc. I can only suggest that each student be the best BB they can. Don't expect anyone else to be better at what they do, and with any less self-serving attitudes than we are at what we do. I don't remember who said it, so with apologies; "It is usually our own bad eyesight that prevents us from seeing the good in others." West's march 2001 Hapkido seminar. He was one of those people you meet and instantly feel like you have known all your life and become friends with instantly. While participating in several of the training events he always was quick to lend a hand and help you with understanding a technique. He also talked about respect and brotherhood among martial artists and treated us like we were part of each other's schools. I chatted with him often while online and he never spoke of his failing health, he always seemed more intrested in how we were doing and if we were training hard. Awhile ago he told me he had a relapse but didnt let on how grave his circumstances were ,just asked how we were doing,, but, That was like him a Friend,True Warrior and Grandmaster to the end.. Dudes sometimes it's just right around the corner and you just don't know it,, he will be missed by the HAPKIDO community for sure.
