The adult class was an hour and 15 minutes long. We did stretching for 15 minutes, one steps for 15, self defence for 15, sparring for 15, ect. But forms were another story. Cause we had so many people and so many different ranks that we had to do forms for a 1/2 hour or so. So my teacher would do only one other thing on the day he did forms (besides stretching). My new school, we have "A" days and "B" days. "A" days is tech stuff (forms, one steps, and self defence). "B" days is sparring and lane/mat work days. We warm up first (roughly 10 or 15 minutes ..... this school does "warm-ups first then actual stretching lol). So it works out to be roughly 15 minutes for each thing for "A" days in an hour class. Plus there is an "open" class on saturdays to work on anything you need work on or to get extra help with stuff. I hope this helped :o) Dizzy white belt TKD (was 5th gup TSD) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Sat, 08 Dec 2001 17:50:57 PST Subject: the_dojang: . ------------------------------ End of The_Dojang-Digest V8 #672 ******************************** It's a great day for Taekwondo!
