What page do you see that on? >Thx. >Ray Terry No, not in the Tang Soo Do book, I believe the claim was made by Gen Choi Hong Hi himself. I can't remember if I saw this on TKD-Net a few years ago, on this list, or TKD Times. Maybe I mis-read the whole thing, but I don't think so. The various kwans that were unifying under the TKD name complained about TSD being practiced by thugs and criminals and that's why they wouldn't use the name TSD. With the whole truth always being told about Korean MA history how could I doubt this story? :^) Jon David Payne --__--__-- Message: 2 From: To: Date: Sat, 25 May 2002 14:14:57 -0400 Subject: [The_Dojang] (no subject) Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Does anyone know the proper spelling for the Black Belt pattern Pa Ba Moon? This is used for our 1st dan testing and I am trying to find some information about this pattern so that I can pass it on to our students. the Grand Master associated with us can give us the Korean spelling for it, but I am looking for the English version. Perhaps I could add that the IHS is not a particularly open society, nor does it have a whole lot of interest in pursuing anything other than what it finds interesting. By this I mean that if one is interested in their agenda things will go just fine. However, I have not met or talked with anyone who has joined the organization and pursued their particular field of interst. It would be, I think, like going to DRAGON TIMES and asking to publish an article on KMA (Been there, done that). For better or for worse they seem to have their own idea of whatever direction they intend to go.
