I will put it on my goals for 2003. Of course that would be a good excuse to buy a dremel tool :-) I think I will start with wood, although I assumed it will not be as durable as soapstone, but easier to work as you mentioned. Currently, I sign all my gup certificates in red with: Ri cha d z Dang Soo Do Sa Bum and oversign in blue: CRichards which was kewl and personal for 10 students, but with about 7-8 at each months gup test, I really need a choip :-) I think I decoded your chop to be romanized as: K ree z L/Ra ka b/va Kinda hard to fit Chris LaCava on a 1/2" square, neh? Great job and thanks again for posting! Yoursd in Jung Do, Charles Richards Moja Kwan TangSooDo __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Are these the standard 2 person counter drills? For example back kick vs round house? Or are they more complex, and if so would you mind sharing a few of them? I know that I'm always looking for new drills to use in my classes and I would imagine that others are as well. Of course, they were a negative of the original chop. I have written the hangul for a rubber stamp chop for several local instructors and it has worked out. It's easy and cheap. Fortunately, when I was in China, they made them, while you waited, for about for a couple of bucks each. Dr. Kimm did the translations for me, so I picked up 3 of them. The ink paste I bought in China is very messy but it works great. Jere R. Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net I found this on another board I visit occasionally. Sorry this doesn't have too much to do with Korean Martial Arts, but being a frequenter of this board for many years, I thought it would be quite appropriate for us. A forum newbie opens a thread and asks how to change a light bulb. 5 minutes later an experienced forum member posts detailed instructions. 5 other members post their similar experiences changing light bulbs. 7 report on other methods for changing light bulbs. 3 point out the typos and grammar mistakes in the light bulb posts. 8 members are upset about the grammar experts. 9 write that this is not the right place for discussing light bulbs and this discussion should be carried on in old.lite.bulb. 10 defend the thread, since we all use light bulbs and this thread therefore belongs in this forum. 21 members debate which light bulb changing method is superior, where the best light bulbs can be purchased, which kind of light bulb is best and which brands are bad quality. 6 post URLs which show light bulbs. 5 say that the previous URLs are wrong and post the right addresses. 14 quote the complete posts and write “Me too.” under them. 7 announce that they will leave the forum because they can’t stand these constant light bulb discussions. 1 member suggest starting a newsgroup change.old.lite.bulb. 2 say that old.physic.cold_fusion has already been set up for that topic. 4 suggest that the posters read the light bulb FAQ. 5 members point out old threads that have already handled this topic. Answer: It takes 108 forum members to change one light bulb. --__--__-- _______________________________________________ The_Dojang mailing list The_Dojang@martialartsresource.net http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/the_dojang http://the-dojang.net It's a great day for Taekwondo!
