A few weeks ago I got a call from an employee of a Ohio congressman telling me they wanted to give me some award. I told them I was really busy and would call them back. Of course I never did. Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Charlie, I had to laugh when I read that as this is the first month we are selling BB magazine at the dojang (it is also the first time I have seen it in years). Although I must confess that I have not had time to look inside the magazine. The teeth are back! But at least this time he is extending a ki finger on one of his hands (not both). Sorry again Michael, but the posturing is still to much. Jere R. I taught once in his school, attended some tournaments and weapons seminars at his dojo. When I knew him a few years ago, he was a 6th Dan in Shorin-Ryu, now he has more 10th degreess than I could count. He was the type who wouldn't talk to you or show you anything unless you had money in your hand. I didn't like his judging at other local tournaments, nor the way his students acted at them. Personally, I don't care to be around or associated with him or his group. I choose to be associated now with true quality martial artists. Maybe I'm just biased (because I knew the guy)... Buyer beware.... Mac ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Surf the web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER! Sims Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net I received the same thing. I called them up and they told me that they had market researchers grab people's names. They then send out that announcement and have you fill out the info and they decide what catagorey to elect you in. Is it worth it? Let's just say that if you want to be in that particular hall of fame, you would be better giving me some of your hard earned money and I will treat you to a nice meal and elect you into Jeremy T's Martial Arts Hall of Fame. At least with me you save the air fare. :) Jeremy __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier.
